How To Join ANATS
You are warmly invited to apply to become a member of ANATS – the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing.
 Steps to join ANATS :
- READ the CODE OF ETHICS and ensure that you agree with its principles,
- PRINT AND COMPLETEÂ the Application Form carefully;
- ENSURE you are able to substantiate your category if required to do so;
- OBTAIN endorsement from a financial member of ANATS who will act as your sponsor. If there is a problem with this for any reason (e.g. because of your location), please contact the National Secretary (click here for contact details) and we will be able to help you;
- MAIL your completed Application Form with credit card details/cheque/money order to the ANATS Secretariat at the National Office (address shown in the sidebar on the right of this page). DO NOT send credit card details by email. Email is NOT secure.
- COMPLETE the Website and Teachers Directory Application Form if you wish to be included on the ANATS website ‘Find A Teacher’ section and/or the printed Teachers Directory (additional fee applies).
Membership entitles you to a year’s subscription to ANATS publications including an update on coming events, keeping you in touch with all that is happening in voice teaching in Australia.
Full Members and Affiliates can participate fully in all ANATS activities.

Code Of Ethics
Membership of ANATS implies the member’s ongoing commitment to:
- Professional and ethical conduct that reflects credit on the individual teacher and the profession as a whole
- Competence, honesty and integrity in all dealings with students and other members of the singing and allied professions
- Truth and avoidance of ambiguity in their statement of qualifications
- The realistic appraisal of a student’s career prospects as a singer
- The avoidance of careless or malicious injury, whether directly or indirectly, to the reputation, prospects or business of other members
- The abstention from proselytising the students of other teachers
- The active development of his or her skills and vocational knowledge in the pursuit of professional excellence
