ACT March 2011 Update

Greetings from your ANATS Chapter Committee! We have had our first meeting
for the year, and the planning for various activities is well underway.

ACT Chapter AGM
The next event is our ACT Chapter Annual General meeting, which will take
place at the home of Theresa Rayner on Sunday March 20, at 12.30 pm, at 12
Lawley Place, Deakin. It will be followed by a light lunch, and
entertainment, in the lovely garden our our generous hosts, Theresa and John
Rayner. You are most welcome to attend, and to bring partners. Please RSVP

2011 Events

Other events include a Pre-Exam Workshop on May 29, and a Pre-Eisteddfod
Workshop in August. More details will follow.
Our Professional Development Day for 2011 will take place on Sunday 23
October, and we’re busy considering the suggestions you gave us via our
feedback forms at the last PD Day!
In July, Gillyanne Kayes and Jeremy Fisher from the UK will be in Australia
for an ANATS Master Teacher Tour. They’ll be presenting in Sydney on July 30
and 31. A great opportunity for professional development! Details on the

Membership Renewal

If you happen not to have renewed your ANATS Membership yet, there is now an
easy way to do it – online, through the ANATS Webpage. Of course you can
also renew by cheque, through the Secretariat in Sydney too.
We now have a Membership Secretary on the Committee, Rosemary Lohmann, who’s
doing a great job sorting out the complexities of this area. And a new
member, Heather Grady. Welcome to both!
