Australia’s national conference for singing teachers returns in 2027, on the Sunshine Coast.

Amplify 2027 is Australia’s national conference for singing teachers and voice professionals, combining world-class learning with a warm, collegial community experience.
Held every two years in a different location, the ANATS National Conference is an incredible opportunity to connect with singing teachers, singing researchers, and everyone with an interest in working with singers.
Invited international and national speakers combine with paper presentations from our members to create an unmissable weekend of learning and fun.
In July 2027, the ANATS National Conference will take place in Venue 114 on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Amplify 2027 is built substantially from the work of its delegates. If you teach, coach, research or write about the singing voice, we’d like to hear what you’re working on.
Talks, interactive workshops and lecture recitals. The theme is open — “Amplify” means many things, and every proposal is considered on its own merits. ANATS membership isn’t required to submit or to present.

Venue 114 sits on Lake Kawana at Bokarina, midway between Mooloolaba and Caloundra, a short walk from the beach.
There are direct flights to Sunshine Coast Airport from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Cairns, and a direct service from Auckland. From Perth, Hobart and elsewhere, fly into Brisbane and connect or drive — Brisbane Airport to Venue 114 is about 100km, an hour and a quarter up the Bruce Highway.
ANATS will run a shuttle bus from partner accommodation each day. If you’ve hired a car, take a colleague with you — some of the best conversations at a conference happen on the drive back.
Early July falls in the Queensland school holidays, so book flights and accommodation early.

The main room is streamed live to online delegates — keynotes and main-room presentations as they happen — with 30 days of on-demand access to those recordings afterwards.
It’s a single track, and it isn’t the same conference: no workshops, no corridor conversations, none of the reason most people come. But if the Sunshine Coast is genuinely out of reach, it’s there.
